New iPod Recorders
Two new iPod recorders are available now that give you high-quality sound and have no extra software to install.
They are the Belkin Tune Talk Stereo for video iPods and XtremeMac MicroMemo for second-generation nanos. You attach them to the dock connector. They get their power from your iPod’s battery.
iPod recorders aren’t exactly new devices, but these one actually give you good quality sound in stereo. Plan to use an external microphone with the Tune-Talk on because the built-in one is so close to the iPod’s hard drive that it actually picks up the background noise of it spinning. The nanos use flash memory, so the hard drive spinning noise isn’t an issue.
